SpringShire opens newly renovated Information Center in Greenville, introduces new team members
May 13, 2016 — SpringShire Retirement Community, a North Carolina not-for-profit corporation, is pleased to announce the opening of their newly renovated Information Center on NC-43 North and the hiring of three team members to introduce this new community.
SpringShire will be licensed as a Continuing Care Retirement Community, also known as a Life Plan community, that offers homes and apartment homes for independent residents, as well as the full continuum of care should a resident have a change in health.
SpringShire’s Information Center will help visitors learn more about the community by viewing detailed architectural renderings of the types of homes, apartment homes and common areas that will be built.
“The best way for someone to learn about SpringShire is to see the vision for this special community themselves,” says Morgan Lamphere, Vice President of Marketing for SpringShire. “The Information Center will provide the opportunity for future residents to see themselves living in the community and learn the benefits of being in this exciting new place.”
In addition, three sales team members have been hired to introduce prospective residents to SpringShire.
Nikki Sutton, Sales Associate, is originally from Kinston, NC and has several years of communications and training experience. She is passionate about helping seniors learn more about their retirement living options. Ms. Sutton has personal experience in helping loved ones make these choices, and she is excited about the opportunity to help change lives for people moving to SpringShire.
Seth Talley, Sales Associate, lives in Washington, NC and is well known throughout Eastern North Carolina for his work in real estate development and golf course communities such as Ironwood Country Club and Landfall Country Club. Mr. Talley provides years of experience in leading people through challenging decisions, and is looking forward to educating people about this new community.
Leslie Parker, Sales Assistant, will support the sales associates and manage the day-to-day office operations. Ms. Parker has lived in Greenville for the past 35 years and has worked all over Eastern North Carolina in community outreach and development.
Since re-opening the sales center and holding marketing events, the community has enjoyed remarkable success.
“When our community originally started pre-sale marketing several years ago, more than 300 seniors made a priority deposit,” said David Ammons, founder of SpringShire and President of Retirement Living Associates, Inc. “Now that we are re-launching our operations we have been pleased to see a large return of those original members, and a significant pent up demand from retirees for a new retirement living community in Eastern North Carolina.”
SpringShire will consist of 150 independent living apartment homes, 12 independent cottages, an 8-bed assisted living unit and a 12-bed skilled nursing unit. The community will be situated on 127 acres of land located off of Highway 43 between 264 Bypass and Ironwood Country Club in Pitt County. In addition to well-appointed homes, the community will offer a variety of services and amenities such as multiple dining venues, theater, primary care clinic, fitness center & indoor pool, card rooms and easy access to nature trails and walkways. The community will be overseen by a voluntary Board of Directors, and managed by Retirement Living Associates, Inc., a senior living services firm headquartered in Raleigh.
“This is the right time and the right place for a community like SpringShire,” said Dr. Robert Deyton, SpringShire Board Member. “We are pleased with the success so far, and look forward to construction starting soon.” Dr. Deyton has served on the SpringShire board since 2007. He is a retired physician and has served as a local OB-GYN for more than 40 years.
