A way of life that gets your nature

SpringShire’s Community Advisory Board

SpringShire’s commitment to future residents’ needs and the community in which we serve has brought about the formation of SpringShire’s Community Advisory Board. We had our kickoff lunch on Thursday, April 27 at Rock Springs.

This group of professionals are volunteering their time to learn about SpringShire as well as share ideas about how to reach potential residents.

Our goal at SpringShire is to create not only a premier Life Plan Community but also to become an active and conscientious citizen in this area. We want to be knowledgeable about the local environment and be current about all the wonderful things that are happening in Greenville.

Morgan Lamphere, VP of Marketing provided an update on SpringShire and an outline of the scope of the SpringShire Community Advisory Board. Members are encouraged to participate in marketing events and promotions in the future and to help us with ideas on how to promote the community. SpringShire will host a luncheon twice a year to update the Board on how the community is progressing.

Here’s what some Advisory Board members have to say…

“I am excited to serve on the Community Advisory Board and work collaboratively with SpringShire Retirement Community to inspire their future residents to engage in wonderful opportunities through both SpringShire amenities and the Lifelong Learning Program.”

-Andrew Ross, Coordinator for Lifelong Learning Programs, East Carolina University

“Eastern NC needs a wider array of options for older adults and SpringShire checks all the boxes: choices of housing, from totally independent living to smaller apartments to targeted care. The campus will be lovely, nestled into nature, with amenities designed to promote an active, social lifestyle and a sense of community. I am thrilled to be part of creating this wonderful opportunity in the Eastern NC area.”

-Charlotte-Anne Alexander, Colombo Kitchin Attorneys

We are excited to have this great Advisory Board take part in the development of SpringShire.
